Modernization work at “Ellmühle” mill completed

November 8, 2013 saw the official reopening of the modernized “Ellmühle” in the Deutz district of Cologne.

On November 8, 2013 some 200 guests from the worlds of business and politics attended the official reopening of “Ellmühle” in the Deutz district of Cologne following 18 months of modernization work.

Kampffmeyer Mühlen GmbH, which is Germany’s largest mill operator and headquartered in Hamburg, invested 16.5 million euros in construction work and technical plant. On the basis of the construction measures WTM planned, the mill now satisfies cutting-edge demands on production processes and food hygiene. The use of energy-saving technology meets the high requirements of sustainable building.

WTM has acted as general planner for the Group for decades now.
